    Helpful Reminder

Having just taken a class in MPLS from CISCO not too long ago, I found the material in this book to be a helpful reminder of that various acronyms inherent in any type of computer manual. VPNs, QoS, MPLS, FRR, AtoM, PPP - all of that jargon can get frustrating without having a manual like this to work from. In that regard, this book is a very useful tool. Before my MPLS class, I swore that ATM was a bank machine (of course it means, Asynchronous Transfer Mode, and it's a form of Switching) - but that's the sort of stuff that this book is really good at. The author has provided a good broad reference that helps reinforce previous learned material. The book might not be for everyone, but it really has helped shed light on material that I couldn't really put my head around.
