    good with limits

I used this book during a recent visit to Italy. Several phrases included in the book were very useful but when I went to look up individual words, more often than not they were not included which was frustrating. I would have prefered a larger dictionary at the end of the book with fewer phrases at the beginning. Organization was also frustrating. However, misc info such as how to to take a train was helpful.

    Very Helpful

Most places in the cities have employees who speak English; but on this trip we were driving through the countryside and visiting rural areas. This phrase book was invaluable for securing car repairs and accommodations in one small town.

    Don't buy it

This is not useful at all - too many categories, and simple words you want to find in the english to italian are not in there (Black! - it's in the italian to english, but how would you know what to look up)

    DEFINATELY A MUST

this book is definately a must for anyone with a sense of humor. it had the essential phrases we needed, but also some crazy ones that helped us break the ice with the locals.
