Overview

The three members of The Saddle Club -- Carole, Stevie, and Lisa -- are delighted when they get a chance to go to Moose Hill, a sleep-over riding camp in the hills of Virginia. It promises to be two wonderful weeks of riding, meeting new horse-crazy friends, and competing in a genuine horse show. Best of all, the camp has plenty of stable hands to do the heavy chores. It's going to be a real vacation!

When the arrive at Moose Hill, the girls are in for some surprises: their groom isn't doing his job, and their cabin mates are snobs who care more about winning the horse show than making friends. Even Stevie's new boyfriend is convinced that he's the best rider around. Then a sudden an emergency at camp tests everyone's courage and results in some unexpected friendships -- adding up to an end-of-the-summer adventure the girls will never forget.

    Excellent Book!!!!!!

When then Saddle club girls go to Moose Hiil for a 2 week riding camp, they discover they are in for a hard-working vacation. The stable hands are not doing their jobs and are being careless. Especially one named Fred. When Stevie goes to the tackroom she finds Topsides tack thrown on the floor. He also leaves the horses in their stalls for a long time without letting them cool off. The Saddle Club knows not to Fred get near their horses because he might be dangrous to the horses. Will Fred cause trouble at camp? Not only that but the people are snobbs, complainers, grumpy, and don't care about anything but the horse show at the end of camp. Besides that The Saddle Club is having a great time. Also Stevie meets a new boy and really likes him. He really likes her. does Stevie have a boyfriend? How will her friends feel? Bottom Line: Great Book!!!!!!

"Okay, if you say so," the red and black tom meowed, and lay down the bundle of moss. He quickly made a nest, then said, "There!", pleased with his work.

At Moose Hill there are Horses, fun, and friends. Or are there?

This is a great book. The Saddle Club goes to Moose Hill for a fun riding cmp. But when they get there, everyone seems only interested in winning. Even The stable hand can't do things right! When an unexpected fire comes to the stables, it's up to the Saddle Club to help - save not only the horses, but everyone elses feelings too!
