Overview

He’s a biker working undercover for the Feds. She joined the Wild Riders for reasons of her own. Together, they’re burning up the asphalt and tearing headlong into danger and passion…

Ever since runaway Jessie Matthews teamed up with the gang of special ops bikers, the guys of the Wild Riders have thought of her as their kid sister. Except for Diaz Delgado. Over the past few years he’s been watching the budding of a ripe young woman. Jessie’s glad somebody finally sees her for who she is—and she’s thrilled it’s Diaz. His dark good looks and killer body have tempted her since day one.

Diaz’s unbrotherly urges have been hard to fight but the last thing he’d want to do is hurt Jessie and break up the gang. But when they both go undercover to infiltrate a group of killer survivalists, he knows it’ll be hard to keep his distance—especially when the mission takes a risky turn. Now Diaz has no choice but to open himself up to the one woman who may be strong enough to take him on.

This was a very fast-paced book with very erotic scenes that took my breath away! Very quick read, but with an enjoyable writing style. I'd recommend this book to anybody who wants a fun book!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS STORY.. Diez is a part of the Wild Riders group working for the government. Jessie was "adopted" by the group when she was only 15 and since then has been like a little sister to all the men except Diez. He knew he was suppose to look at her like a sister but something was different, and she feels it to. When she is assigned her first mission with Diez to infilltrate a group of bikers they think is behind gun running they are forced to examine their feeling for one another a little closer. Jessie does not appear innocent and is very forward about what she wants but Diez knows there will be nothing long term with her and doesn't want to persue any relationship. However, when the initiation to the gang is forthcoming Jessie knows she has to lay all the cards out on the table for Diez and see what happens.
This is the second in the Wild Riders Series. The First is Riding Wild and then in April, 2009, Riding On Instinct comes out.

Good story and great sex scenes. Very steamy. Definitely read the first in the series because that one is extreme sex!

It took me three weeks to read this book, when normally a book of this length would not have taken me three days to read. There was nothing about this book that compelled me to pick it up again after each read. The first problem? The characters were not believable. After awhile I started hoping that jessie would give up on Diaz and go after Crush. But noooo, everytime Diaz pushed her away, here come Jessie marching up a total glutton for punishment. And Diaz, he had more excuses than the book had pages. First he didn't want to be with Jessie because of what the other guys would think, then it was because she didn't really know him, then it was because of his family history. Someone else in their review called Diaz an alpha male. I didn't see that in him AT ALL. And then there was Crush... I don't want to give away any spoilers here so lets just say in the end I found his character to be unbelievable. Their mission was a secondary plot, but an uninteresting one. I found myself reading along not caring who was supposed to be the bad guy. When you figure out who the bad guy is, pretty early on, you don't see enough of his character to really think of him as nefarious or to even care. Honestly, there was not enough information about their unit to tell my why the Wild Riders are special. What sets them out as a government agency? They didn't do anything in this book that any undercover officer from any other agency couldn't have done. Overall, I could not suspend disbelief enough for this one- not for the characters, not for their mission, not for their agency. I'm honestly not sure what other people loved that I missed. Without a doubt the sex was hot and the bikes were cool. The description of their rides made me want to hop on the back of one. However, after the first couple of scenes, I skipped over the sex and there weren't anymore rides so... Needless to say I will not revisit this series. It had all the requesite factors of an erotic romance novel -- hot H/h, fast paced plot, steamy love scenes, but I didnt like this one as much as the first book in the Wild Ride series. The hero, Diaz was underdeveloped and the heroine, Jessie a virgin turned sex kitten theme was a bit trite, IMO. The ending felt rushed to me as well considering how the 'relationship' between the H/h was so tumultuous throughout the book.
