Zara came off pathetic, and matt harsh and cold. His dirty talk was awful and not sexy or sweet. Im all for the dirty talk but make it sexy not kinda gross and weird. Matt was just too ruff around the edges with nothing in his character really all that likeable, While zara was just annoying practically the whole book. I could have done without this book but oh well im stuck with it now :-(

Key word in this book (SEED) they said that word so many times. This was an interesting read, Matt treated Zara a little harsh. But, I then took a step back and said, "well, if my spouse died and before she died she thought I was cheating I would be in a crappy mood as well with alot of guilt". Zara seemed very weak at times. She was so innocent in many ways that it made her seem weak. But then again I don't want to confuse her feelings as weak, she really cared for Matt before he even realizes this. Even though Matt was married and he had issues with his marriage, I'm glad neither Matt or Zara did anything. Sometimes people can't help who they fall in love with; even though Zara was trying to maintain a friendship with Matt during his marriage is asking for trouble. Matt only saw Zara as a friend in the beginning but then along the way it became more. There sex life was outrageous at times but still steamy. ************ Feel free to join my book group on facebook ( Romance Novel Junkies) we have over 500 members and counting which includes well known and indie authors and avid readers as members who are apart of this group who would love to hear about new books and thoughts, also check out our kindle and ebook lending library with trading books.

Although I liked this book and found it to be a good read, it wasn't quite as original as I hoped. When it comes to vamp fiction, there are only so many things that authors can do to keep up some originality. The ranch setting was different since a lot of vampire novels take place in an urban area but although it kept me reading, I would have liiked a little more.
