Meet the Author

Liliana Hart spent five years teaching music in the public education system. She molded America’s youth, busted kids for smoking pot in the restrooms, and broke up illicit affairs behind the stage on a regular basis. (Liliana’s Addison Holmes Mystery Series, about a small town teacher who gets into a whole lot of trouble, is somewhat autobiographical, but she won’t confess to which parts).

Liliana began reading romance novels with all her new found free time, and when she ran out of things to read, she decided to write her own novels. The result was a 150,000 word thriller--a dazzling adventure--where the heroine was a thirty-year-old virgin assassin (Yes, you read that right). She couldn’t imagine why people weren’t knocking down her door to read it, but she persevered and began writing a second book. She finally got the hang of things, and eventually learned that losing one’s virginity wasn’t all that romantic after all. All of her books involve some kind of suspense (she just can't help herself), laughter, and a lot of steamy sex.

Since the failure of her first attempt, Liliana’s books have won awards such as: The Daphne Du Maurier, The Suzannah, The Linda Howard Award of Excellence, The Maggie, and many others. Her affiliations include Romance Writers of America and Mystery Writers of America. Liliana loves to cook, and is addicted to reading, Internet Boggle, kickboxing, and Bones. She lives in a big, rambling house in Texas with a couple of cats to keep her company. She loves to get emails from readers.

Enjoy the Adventures!

    Hottest of the Series!

This book is smokin' hot! Riley is a very Indiana Jones-like archaeologist/college professor, and he can't resist the temptation when Margaret Lawrence comes to him with a priceless artifact and bad guys on her trail. They get snowed in and the sparks start to fly. It's even better that they get trapped in Riley's older brother, Cooper's, house because it's talked about in previous books how kinky Cooper is when it comes to sex. Riley and Margaret have a great time discovering each other.

You'll need a cold shower after this one.

Once again I'm sad that this was a novella. I would have loved a full length novel about this couple. The author hints at some really interesting and complex characters, we just don't have enough time to really get them. You could feel the connection between Riley and Maggie right away and I was excited to watch their relationship grow. The storyline had me hooked right away. I thought it was a cool concept and I wanted to see how it would play out. It fell a little flat because it was so rushed and we didn't really get all the answers we should have. I really wished I had time to learn more about Maggie and her background. I loved the pace of the story at first but then once I passed the half-way point everything just kind of moved on fast forward. Loved the characters and the storyline, just needs more depth to really fill everything out and allow for the reader to connect with the characters.

Riley was a great book! By the Second book of The MacKenzie Brothers Quartet, I was hooked! I love all 4 brothers! Riley MacKenzie is a professor at Declan College and is considered an expert in Egyptian Artifacts. Maggie Lawrence is the director for the Library of Antiquities. She goes to Riley for help when a colleague and past lover Dr. Jonathon Smith sends her a rare find. Riley and Maggie soon find themselves snowed in due to a blizzard and things start to heat up!
Liliana Hart delivers some hot steamy love scenes! My favorite was when Maggie discovered some goodies in the guest bedroom. The MacKenzie Series by Liliana Hart is a must read! It has everything a great book should ...sense of adventure, hot love scenes, humor and of course a happy ending!!
