Overview

The consciousness of old San Cristobal awakens. It sleeps no more because its lost companion is once more reborn. Her memory has awakened this guardian of the past. It looks for and finds her in our present-day world. She is a young doctor born with the GIFT of touch and ESP abilities. She has been in love with a musician since age fourteen. He perceives her as wicked; she believes him to be her lover from another life. Fireworks and misunderstandings between David and Kathleen lead her all the way back to Presidio where she remembers the past and comes face to face with the spirit of San Cristobal, a semi-fallen angel known as Old of Old. What mystery happens on the battlefield of Iraq? Can the mysterious Old of Old create a miracle of happiness for them? Riley's Gift will touch your heart and your soul.

Riley's Gift - A review by Cynthia DeVaughn This is an excellently written story. You are on the edge of your seat reading the whole time. You love, hate, laugh and cry through out the whole book. The characters are very endearing some bring humor and others bring the urge to slap them. Even at the end I wanted to know more but was satisfied. Riley is witty and genuinely honest with her self even though she isn't always honest with everyone else. I love to read but haven't been able to read alot lately and this book quenched that desire to every extent. It is a love story, a mystery, and a drama It even has a good helping of humor intertwined in it. I would suggest everyone that just loves a good story to get this book, you won't regret it. It is unmistakeably a 5 star book.
