Editorial Reviews

Deborah Wiley
I have never read a time travel in which the setting was so far back in time, and so it was with great excitement that I started RILEY'S JOURNEY. P.L. Parker did not disappoint!
Linda L
P.L. Parker creates a world in Riley's Journey, as if she were sent back in time to capture it all and put it down on paper. This imaginative story captivates with thrills and excitement that spin with every turn of the page. As the storyline with Riley and Nathan unfold, it is an experience that grips the reader as they try every way to find a survival pattern to keep them from any danger. This is a smashing good story with excellent writing.

Meet the Author

Offbeat is a perfect word when describing me. For many years, I taught, performed as well as choreographed dance. I am a dreamer and an avid reader of fiction, a sometime gardener and an inept crafter. I love to travel, always returning to my beautiful Idaho where I reside with my husband, my sons, my granddaughters, two huge cats and a toy poodle. I am multi-published author, and a member of RWA.

If you enjoyed Riley’s Journey, the second in the series is available, Into the Savage Dawn and I am currently working on the third novel in the series.

    So different - so good!

Riley’s Journey by P.L. Parker and Sandra Edwards was one of the best books I’ve read lately. Just for the fact that it was so different, the characters well-developed and the story well-written, I gave the book 5 stars.
I’ve never wondered what it would be like to live in the cave-man era, but this tale totally put me there. My imagination was fully engaged in the authors’ vision. The setting and realistic people inhabiting the earth at the time worked well. Conflicts kept coming and made me feel involved continuously with the hero and heroine who were forced to rely on each other through amazing adventures. Their love story added another dimension and had me sighing over their antics. Those pages turned too fast for my liking and I reached the end way too quickly. The only consolation - there was a follow-up book called “Into the Savage dawn.”

    A reviewer

Riley's Journey was a step back in time, viewed through the eyes of a modern woman. A great blending of ancient with modern. I highly recommend this book.

    I really loved it.

This was the first time reading a book by this author. I couldn't put it down!!! It was one of those kinds of books you just want it to go on and on. I just purchase the sequel and love it so far too.

    description was misleading

I liked this book, but the description was misleading. I was a bit afraid going into it thinking the main character is romantically linked to a cro-magnon man. Luckily that was not the case.
