    Inconsistent with series

I haven't finished this book yet, but so far, I am extremely disappointed with it. 'Riley's Retribution' is the 5th and last book in the Big Sky Bounty Hunters series, and from what I've read so far, it seems as if York had very little idea of what the previous authors had developed for the series. She has the basics, but a lot of important details just don't match and make no sense whatsoever. It's just rather disappointing to get through 4 books of the series, enjoy them and be ready for that big finale, and then have it just not make sense. And it also doesn't make sense that the editors didn't pick up on these major inconsistencies. They really ruin what had so far been a great continuity series. If you ignore all that (which is pretty much impossible), it's decent enough book. It kept me reading despite my annoyance.
