    Happy with this beautiful album

I have most of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir albums. I found this one different in variety and style, but still quite pleasing and inspiring. Thanks Choir for the reverence and sincerity you put into your Christmas music. The world needs more of your music, especially in the Christmas season. I heard this choir live in London years ago and remember how I could hardly catch my breath, being overwhelmed with their powerful and sacred sound.

    Very disappointing

If you are expecting lots of bells, chimes, singing, traditional Christmas carols and the usual sound from MTC, this is not for you. Many of the arrangements were jazzed up and many of the carols were not even easily recognizable. While Brian Stokes Mitchell has a beautiful voice, the songs and arrangements just did not evoke Christmas to me. There were a few tried and true carols, but far and few between and very little will be downloaded to the old IPOD. Was very disappointed in this.
