Meet the Author

Cidney Swanson grew up within spitting distance of the central California foothills and learned to drive on the crazy highways linking gold rush ghost towns. She began her first novel at age eight; it started with “Ouch,” and she’s enjoyed creating painful situations for her characters ever since. Cidney worked as a costume designer, clothing designer, and kitchen gadget salesperson prior to giving it all up for literature. She obviously couldn’t hold a job, so it was probably a good decision to write full time instead. Cidney lives in Oregon’s Willamette Valley with her husband, three kids, a dog, and two cats and entirely too much rain.

    Good writing!

The story was original & well-written & the characters were likeable & believable. Lots of intrigue. Lots of unanswered questions, but not in an annoying, cliff-hanger way. I want to read the sequel because I enjoyed the book, not simply because I need to know what happens next (although of course I do!). I recommend this book & this author.

This book was awesome. At times funny, and sad, and hopeful.
Take my word for it. Read this book. Cannot wait for next book.

    Loved this book

So, after purchasing a nook almost a year ago, I have definitely read my money's worth repeatedly. I thought this book was interesting and I couldn't wait to read it, with the hopes of finding out more about the characters.

I really enjoyed this book. I gave it five stars but I give BN three for not having the sequels available on their site. (Unless I am blind).... but no reason to blame the author for that. I loved the idea of turning invisable and that a love story didn't dominate the whole book. Also, for a free nook book there really wasn't many misspelled words which I usually find to be annoying in books!

Well written YA science fiction. Sam is about to turn 16 when she meets the boy of her dreams Will. While out with their track team Sam realizeses she has disappeared...literally. Finding out that Will has the same ability helps her get through some scary moments. Well written and fun and REALLY can not wait to read parts 2 and 3 of the series. Excellent way to spend an afternoon in the sun.

    Excellent book

This book was based on an interesting concept - the ability to ripple in and out of existence. The descriptions of Nazi experiments were chilling and disturbing - I would recommend this be held for older young adults rather than the young ones. Having said that, I am completely hooked on the story and cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
