Overview

A terrorist cell is sent to the United States to perform a specific attack, when this attack fails, the leader of the group, Mohammed Hassan, unilaterally chooses another target which he believes will redeem him and his cell. After this attack occurs, the repercussions are unprecedented. The reaction ordered by the President of the United States creates turmoil throughout the Middle East. Economic chaos is imminent. There are behind the scenes interests manipulating the United States and the Middle East, once these forces are exposed, many countries in the Middle East must reassess their overt or covert support of various terrorist groups.
An FBI agent is assigned joint duty with the FBI and the newly formed multi-national Counter Terrorism Force; it is his task to coordinate the efforts of the law enforcement agencies pursuing the members of the Hassan cell of the New Dawn terrorist group, which is affiliated with a group claiming the return of Palestine as their goal. He obtains unanticipated assistance in the form of an individual who is familiar with the Hassan cell. Together they analyze information received from the public and narrow the search to Richmond, VA.
Cut off from the funding provided by the Middle East, Hassan must find alternate sources of financing. The two German members of the Hassan cell are dissatisfied with the methods Hassan employs to obtain the money required to continue his personal war against the United States. They want to leave the cell but they are also being hunted by the United States, so their options are limited.
The date of 7-22 becomes both a rallying cry and another ‘Day which shall live in infamy’ with December 7th, 1941 and 9-11.
