Ripples

Overview

Every ripple which appears on the glassy smooth surface of a lake has a certain and purposeful cause. Seeing the result we wonder of the cause. Daily we are touched by the unique influence of those God places in our journey. They bring influences which roll through our lives like gentle ripples rolling over the surface of the waters of our lives. Sometimes they are obvious and clearly simple; at others convoluted with hidden meaning. It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter; Proverbs 25:2. Sometimes you see the fish jump and watch the ripple flow out from it. If you miss the jump but see the ripple, you know the fish was there. Knowing the cause and seeing the result is made easier when we have seen it in the lives of others.
