Offspring Returns!

I was skeptical about another offspring album out of nowhere but they really pulled it off here. A full album, at LEAST 4 songs easily radio playable/quality, the rest just about as good.

All Killer, No Filler!

    Rise and Fall? Rise!

I really liked this album. It's something new but still thoroughly Offspring. To me it seems to follow the trend of change that Conspiracy of One was leading to. I think it sounds more, well, musical than their older stuff - less trying to destroy the drum set and Dexter's throat- but still sharp and simple. Some of it is melancholy and some bitingly cynical but all of it is good to listen to. It's the kind of thing that will follow you all day but not drive you mad. I don't actually have the CD yet but I have a - legal! - download version. I plan to buy it as soon as I get the chance.
