Rising from the Ashesby Gerald Balone
Abandoned at birth, Jerry Balone spent most of his life in foster homes, orphanages, detention centers, and reform schools before going to prison for his involvement in a robbery/burglary in which three people were killed. His story of crime, gangs, and prison life is one that should be read by anyone who believes in the power of education, rehabilitation, and redemption.

I know!)) "Sure!" She said standing up and waiting for him ti get up as well.
Shrugged and looked around. "Ready to go back to camp?" He asked. (We keep missing each other. xD.)
This book is based on lie after lie after lie. I am Christine who was Jerrys former wife. He put me in the book without my permission because the book is all about the lies he told in writing it. He lived with his family after 15 months. The court ordered his mother to bring him home. He lived at home most of the rest of his life until he went to prison at age 17 for robbing and stealing. He did 3 years. After he got out of prison the first time 40 days later he broke into the home of his victims and killed them and tortured them with a hammer. He knew his family and spends time with them now. I spent a lot of time with them and his mother. I spent a lot of time with her almost daily when she was dying. I was with this monster for 12 years and married to him for 5 years. And he is still a monster. He has violated parole many times and should be back in prison. I am contesting this book as a book of lies. It is not non-fiction or autobiographical in most of its telling. The author who was writing it dropped it and told Jerry he was no longer going to work on it. Because of the lies. The book is fiction at best.
