    Another Outstanding Canterwood Book!

    Jessica Burkhart is a talented writer, and it shows in The Canterwood Crest Series. If you have not read them, they are based for a tween age, and are full of horseback riding and social drama. This is the seventh book.

    It's Homecoming week, a famous time of school spirit, and Sasha Silver couldn't be less enthusiastic. All she wants to do is ride and study, now that she has found her footing at Canterwood and has almost no friends. However, it's not going to work out that way...

    In addition to this, Sasha is feeling confused about whether or not Julia and Allison cheated on the exam that had had them kicked off the riding team, and she's maybe even forming an alliance with former...bullies?

    And, of course, Sasha is still freaked out about Jacob's secret confession, and her ex-BFF Callie is being more hostile than ever. Does the drama ever end?

    I Also Recommend:

    Canterwood Crest: Rival Revenge (Book 7)

    Here is yet another example of Jessica Burkhart's natural talent and voice. Canterwood Crest: Rival Revenge is the seventh book in the Canterwood Crest Series. It combines horses, drama, and lip gloss together in a way that catches the reader and draws them in instantly. It is entertaining, absorbing, and funny. Jessica Burkhart's unique and captivating voice brings the CC characters to life. The CC girls are relatable and fascinating with real-life problems, thoughts, actions, and situations. Every character is unique and fun. This book is the perfect recipe with a mix of good characters, fun horses, and drama filled situations (but always with a touch of humor). Jessica Burkhart may easily be one of best tween/teen writers in the world. She really knows how to make the books fun, yet dramatic; serious, yet funny; horsey, yet not overly horsey. She has an amazing gift and writes with a voice that will take you over and draw you in effortlessly. I always am excited for the next book and they have never failed to thrill me. Here is my take on Canterwood Crest: Rival Revenge:

    13-year-old Sasha Silver has just gotten her footing at the elite Canterwood Crest Academy. That is, until her disastrous 13th birthday party where she lies to two of the people she cares most about and loses them, along with the trust of the whole grade. Well not the whole grade. Two people still know the truth: Her ex-enemy/now...friend? , Heather Fox, and, Paige Parker, her loyal BFF and roomier. To cover up her pain, she throws herself fully towards riding and studying. To add to her worries, she now doubts the fact that Julia Myer and Alison Robb (Heather's BFF's) really cheated. Sasha overextends herself and it leads to physical and mental problems? Then the truth comes out about Alison and Julia. Did they really cheat? Find out in Canterwood Crest: Rival Revenge.

    I am totally in love with this series! This book is mainly the aftermath from Sasha's painful 13th birthday party. She starts to really become friends with the Trio which throws her off. Along with the fact that she misses her ex-BFF more than ever. It may seem boring compared to the very eventful Canterwood Crest: Little White Lies and may seem like an extension of LWL, in some ways. But in my mind I see it as its own book. I really enjoyed it and I'm sure you will too. I would recommend this book to girls, ages 9-15. Even if you aren't horse crazy I bet you will love this book! Find out more in Canterwood Crest: Rival Revenge!

    RR= Amazing Book

    I absolutly loved this book. I have read all of the books in the series so far and this is my second favorite one. This book was very absorbing. Sasha is in the middle of a fight with her best friend and is very confused about which boy she likes. I'm sure lots of girls can relate to the challenges Sasha has. And the ending was a cliff hanger so i can't wait to get the next book and see what happens.
