Decisions, decisions . . . You’ve survived your first semester and captured the interest of not one but two of the hottest guys on campus.

Now who are you going to choose?

Callie Andrews returns for her second semester at Harvard determined to do better than the previous fall, where those Bs on her report card seemed pretty good compared to the state of her extracurriculars (F, as in if at first you don’t succeed, you should probably stop trying), friendships (C-minus, since she and former BFF Vanessa are still on thin ice), and love life (D, as in don’t even go there). But various campus rivalries soon threaten to thwart Callie’s resolve. Will Callie ever be a match for—

Grace Lee the take-no-prisoners managing editor

Alessandra the gorgeous transfer student

Clint the guy who might just be too perfect

and Gregory the guy who may never be perfect enough.

Callie will face some of the toughest choices imaginable: in friendships, in loyalties, and in love. The pressure to pick a side—and a suitor—has never been higher. But will she and her friends choose well?

ALA Booklist
“Gossip Girls and A-Listers will enjoy the bonding, backstabbing, and sneak peek into some of Harvard’s secret social clubs.”
VOYA - Elizabeth Norton
College freshman Callie has a lot going on during her second semester at Harvard. She writes for a campus magazine, has a boyfriend, Clint, and she is a member of the exclusive Hasty Pudding Social Club. Callie worries about things like how she will pay her club dues and whether she will be able to afford to go with her friends on a spring break trip to Puerto Rico, but someone is secretly paying for her, leaving envelopes of cash in the president's office. Meanwhile, the club is considering new members and someone is spilling time-honored secrets in an anonymous blog through the campus magazine, bringing unwanted scrutiny upon the club. This third book in the series stands reasonably well on its own, but readers will enjoy it more if they have read the first two books, and plenty of room is left for more entries in the series. Although the characters are slightly older, this series is very similar to Gossip Girl and The Clique. The story is set at Harvard, but the characters rarely attend class or study, and the plot centers around parties, spring break, and the recruiting process for social clubs. The characters are not fully realized and the dialogue feels stilted and unnatural in places. Repeated mentions of sex tapes and casual spring break hook-ups make this a more appropriate choice for older teens. Reviewer: Elizabeth Norton
Kirkus Reviews
Callie may be established in Harvard's culture and social scene, but can she keep it up? Things are finally going Callie's way. She has a great boyfriend, is COMPing--effectively a training audition--for the Harvard Crimson (under a COMP director who, unlike Lexi during Callie's try-out for Fifteen Minutes, doesn't hate her), has restored relative peace with her roommates and has full membership in her social society, the Hasty Pudding. But being happily with Clint isn't enough to squash Callie's jealousy when ex-crush Gregory starts dating a transfer student. And while Harvard Crimson managing editor Grace Lee also seems to have some past bad blood with Lexi, Lexi's history as Clint's friend keeps rearing its ugly head, leaving Callie suspicious. Additionally, Grace introduces a new Web feature for the Crimson, The FlyBy blog, which starts with a bang through anonymous posts by "The Ivy Insider" that reveal dirty secrets from the exclusive social clubs. And being on the other end of the punch proceedings--determining whom to invite to prospective member functions for the Hasty Pudding--gives Callie her own look at some of the society's nastiness. Overall, Callie is so overwhelmed that she misses big problem signs--unrelated to her--in close friends, and even some of her own non-romantic troubles. The resulting cliffhanger has the highest stakes yet. Smoothly continuing intrigues from earlier novels, this installment tantalizes with tension and drama. (Fiction. 16 & up)

    Loved this book!

I am totally hooked on the IVY series and can wait until the 4th book comes out. The only thing that I don't like is that each new quarter brings a new book. I think the story could still be great if it were only 2 books in the school year. Aside from that, I must say Gregory is fantastic!

    Okay

The third book in the series. It is not badly written. The grammar won't make you cringe. The story has a decent plot in continuing the story of Callie in her first year at Harvard.

My issues come with the fact that you think the story is coming to a nice conclussion and oh wait the last page has a plot twist that now you have to read the next novel. IRRITATING! Save your money and time. If you must read it get it from the library, or wait for allfour years to finish. Three novels so far and we have only made it through spring break. Real life people can not possibly go through that much at Harvard and if they do TRANSFER to a normal school.

    Such a fun read!

I realky liked this series of books. The characters are interesting and funny. I was laughing out loud so much my husband thought I was a crazy person. There is cussing and inappropriate scenes, so I wouldn't recommend it to younger readers. I love a book with sarcastic, funny, hot guys (who doesn't?), but with a good story to go with it and this book definitely has it all. It's a nice break from the science fiction young adult novels, which I love, but sometimes it's fun to read about normal people in normal life. I'm so excited for the next one because this ended with a couple of huge cliffhangers!
