Overview

Part 3 continues the saga of the Bassett brothers and their twin wives as they face the greatest threats to their lives. After a slight mishap and reconciliation at the end of Part 2, the two couples experience a time of peace and happiness during the Christmas season. That peace is soon shattered during a Twelfth Night party when an unexpected, and unwelcome, guest arrives. Now they must find the strength to prevail against this foe from the brothers' past as he plots to ruin their lives. And finally, the climax, a historically correct event brings treachery and sorrow to Riverbreeze plantation, forcing the brothers to defend their home and protect their family from Indian attack and war.
Full of drama, excitement, humor, romance and details of early American life, the Riverbreeze series will appeal to a wide range of readers.

I read all 3 series of riverbreeze and each one was great. I cried, laughed, was sad and happy as i found myself so encrossed with this series that i find myself taking the jorney toward a good life with jamie, robert, their wifes and friends. Ellen e johnson is a great writer, she puts emotions, history, events, a jorney through hardshlp and the will power and love to beat all obstacles. I love her and canno t wait for her next series.

When a series takes you through multiple periods of history and places interesting characters in the stories, you cannot put the books down until you come to the conclusion, and then you wish for a continuation! My favorite kind of reading! Loved it!

I read A LOT of historical fiction and stay mainly to christian based as I dont need all the sex scenes. This book was a good read, but it was oddly written in that the twins could feel each others pleasures - different for ME, but the story was good and the plot, as well. I did read all 3, they were good, just a bit interesting in the twins abilities.
