"Going out?" Squiggz asked Grandpa Lou and Nana.
"But I was hoping we could go on an adventure."
"Sorry," Grandpa said. "Not today."
"While we're gone, please stay inside," said Nana.
"There are plenty of snail-slime sandwiches in the fridge.
And I baked a batch of crunchy toe-jam cookies."
"I don't want to stay here," muttered Squiggz. "Hey!
Let's go on a real roller coaster."
"But Nana said we should stay inside," Flutter said.
"Yeah," agreed Cosmo. "We can't go without
"You guys are just like scared little gnats. Scaredy-gnats!
Scaredy-gnats!" teased Squiggz.
Flutter frowned. "It's not nice to call us names."
Squiggz sighed. "Okay, I'm sorry. But the Coaster
Cliffs roller coaster will be a great adventure. What could
possibly happen? We'll be back before Grandpa and
Nana get home."
Cosmo and Flutter shrugged. "Okay," they said.
