I don't often write reviews but felt compelled with this one. We randomly selected this book at the library 2 weeks ago. To say that both my 4 yr old daughter and 2 yr old son LOVE it would be an understatement. Reading this book together (which is no easy task with a 4- and 2-yr old!) has become an integral part of our day so I decided to purchase our own copy and make it a permanent part of our home library. The author and illustrator have created a perfect mix of visual imagery, sing-song rhyme, and fun onomatopoeias. My 2 yr old requests it by name two or three times a day and actually sits still and looks & listens; my  4 yr old has memorized most of the pages and "reads" along with me. I am purchasing one for both my nieces and my nephew!
