Praise for Robert Asprin’s MYTH series
“You’ll wear out your funny bone.”—The Washington Times
“Stuffed with rowdy fun.”—The Philadelphia Inquirer

Robert Aspirin passed away in 2008, and the remaing books will be written by Nye. There is always a stylistic difference between authors, but I've been pleased with Nye's work thus far.

As a rabid fan of the Myth Adventures series I'm extremely thankful that Jody has been able to continue it.
This was a good book. I found it a little on the short side and the story went a little too fast. It would have been nice for the story to develop a little more or have a few more sub arcs in it. I also thought Aahz was a little too obviously touchy feely, making him feel slightly out of character on occasion.
I'm sure it's incredibly difficult trying to continue Robert's work and it's never going to be the same as the both of them working together. No matter what Jody does it won't be good enough for many folks. I for one am very thankful Jody didn't let the series die.
Thank you Jody.

I love the Myth series, but I think Robert was tired when he knocked this one out. The story line is too predictable and cliche, and the humor factor is not what it usually is. I couldn't put the book down, but not because I loved it, rather because I couldn't wait to get through with it, so I could move on to something more interesting.
I'm betting that Mr. Asprin will be back to normal and in his usual wonderful form, by the tine the next book in the series is released.
