These books are set up to tell the same story, but from each individual's perspective. Similar to real life, each is a protagonist, and others are the antagonists. While no individual has bad intentions, how they appear to act is as much a part of the individual who experiences it.

About the Author

William C. Wheeler is a new author and illustrator to the children's book arena. The books developed are based on the idea that a single series of events is experienced by different individuals in unique ways, resulting in unique stories and settings. Creating the story involved setting up scenes and story frames that allowed all three characters to interact. Part of the challenge was setting up a story where all three characters each had an equal part. The other challenge was creating scenes where the placement of shadows reflected how the protagonist felt, without contradicting the other characters and their feelings.
