Robin wakes up extra early one day because she is super excited. This is the day she will get her first pair of glasses and she can hardly wait. She wonders what will be different once she wears glasses? The doctor finally has them ready—the frames of the new glasses are red, Robin's favorite color. When she puts the new glasses on, Robin is amazed at how much clearer everything is. She loves everything about her new glasses, how they look and how they feel, but most of all, how much better she can see with them on. Robin discovers that she can read the writing on the chalkboard much better now, and her grades even improve because she sees so much more clearly. Each book in the series is given a color label that alerts the reader to how advanced the reading will be in that story. This book is part of the Blue Level, which presents a simple story with a few larger vocabulary words and some variety in sentence structure. The text is complemented with bright and colorful full-page illustrations that help make the reading experience enjoyable.
