Brilliant book for cat breeders, but there is a printer´s error on page 165. ... the l allele appears to have a greater inhibitory affect on yellow ... The small letter "l" is the symbol for longhair. The small letter "l" has to be be replaced by the capital letter "I" - the symbol for "Inhibitor".
