This is a first class book on rocks and gems. Beautiful pictures, excellent commentary about the gems and stones, and all around good information. This is a great reference book. I have paid much more for less information. Not to be missed for your collection.

The articles are hard to read because of the size of the letters about (6.5 to 8)big percent of the book and the contrast is often this size on black back ground. The content of the book is very good big eye strain to read.

I really enjoy picking this book up at random, and seeing what jumps out at me, but it is also a good overview of how our Earth is put together.

I received a confirmation email saying you had shipped the book, and then a few days latter I received an emai saying you were giving me a refund which you did. So I purchased it elsewhere. I didn't understand it but I got my money back.
