Once again Lex Valentine brings readers into her magical world. Her latest creation, Rock My World may not be as intense as some of her most recent books but it is just as emotionally charged. Set in the music industry a world where image is everything we find the characters trying to decide what is more important: their love or their image. Can they give one up to loose the other even if it literally means a threat to their lives?
I was pulled into Gia and Sin's world right from the start. Gia has hidden in the shadows ever since a stalker got too close but when she sees Sin, she feels the need to get her life back. Watching Gia find her strength and figure out just what it is that she wants was a wonderful read. Sin is a great man who loves with all his heart and will do anything to show Gia what true love really is. As the two connected both sexually and mentally they find themselves making beautiful music together, bringing out each other's muses. Only the threat on their lives can tear them apart but both sin and Gia prove that their love is stronger.
Rock My World is a great read full of love and emotions. Not only do we get to meet Gia and Sin but we are also introduced to a whole family of great characters and from all of them one man stood out a bit more than the others Gia's bodyguard Wade. I just adored Wade and would not mind visiting the rock and roll world again to see him get his story told.

Zach meets Aubrey's family. I really like them as a couple. They have great chemistry and fantastic sex. There are assumptions made and not enough communication in this book. There was so much that could have been done with this story line and it fell WAY short compared to the previous books. A little more detail, extended conversations and prolonging the suspense would have gone a long way to a higher rating for me. The editing has not gotten better with the series. There are several places that needed to be re-read to figure out the correct, extra or omitted words in them. All in all, I'm glad we got more of their story and were able to see and feel the depth of the characters' love for each other. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Love Bad Boy Rockers with Tats
This book is awesome, it is a novella that take place right after Rock My Bed, it picks up with Aubrey and Zach (Riff)story. Aubrey is wrongly dismissed from her job so she goes back home to get her dads (the Judge) help. When she goes home she takes Riff home with her, and it is not a happy reunion. Her parents to not like the look of Riff, the sexy, tattooed rocker and her dad does everything he can to make Riff leave and never come back. Aubrey and Riff have to overcome some obstacles, including and ex boyfriend, and an accident. However, their love is strong enough to overcome anything. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I LOVE the sexy bad boy rockers with tats.

This one had several twists and turns I didn't see coming. Love Aubrey's devotion to Zach as they meet her parents and they basically shun him. She is prepared to choose Zach over her family which just shows the strength Aubrey really has. Zach gets challenged, he knows Aubrey is the only one for him but his feelings of inadequacy make him an easy target. Will true love conquer all? Another great installment on the Black Falcon band! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Short but doesn't make you feel deprived. Zach goes to meet the parents which is drama anyone would enjoy. It's 99 cents... buy it and entertain yourself for a few hours! Everyone needs a little time with a tatted, pierced, sexy rock star! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Absolutely loved the continuation of Riff and Aubrey's story, but, this book was a very short like Rock the Band. It was only 85 pages, which was disappointing and made me feel like she could have just added on to the previous book (again). Just felt like because of its shortness it left me feeling like it should have been just added to the first book rather than publishing a new one. Again, I would have much rather paid more money for the first book then to pay $0.99 for this short one and she does this same thing for the next book (Riff and Aubrey's story). Was this review helpful? Love that this author gives us novella’s in between releases! Love this entire series. Terrifically written. Aubrey and Zack’s story is fantastic and this novella is a dynamite. The only thing I didn’t like was the end in the hospital with the parents, it was a little over the top for my taste, but the HEA was achieved none the less. Now the countdown is on to the next in the series, can’t wait! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

If you are a fan of Riff and Audrey's, you must read this book. Heck, if you're a fan of this series, you need to read this! In ROCK MY WORLD, we get to see Riff (aka Zach) and Audrey madly in love, but we also see their relationship get tested. Can they withstand the pressures?
Audrey and Riff head out to visit her parents. She needs help from her dad regarding a legal matter about her old job. But, she also wants to introduce them to Riff. She needs them to understand what he means to her. Now, I love Audrey and I'll admit I got worried a few times, but she stood by her man and I was proud of her. She's a tough chick. She didn't let her parents intimidate her. The thing about Audrey is that she sees Riff for who he really is. She sees the guy who craves love and deserves to be loved. She gives him that and I love her even more for it.
Riff has had a tough life. He looks tough and acts tough. He's not exactly the kind of guy Audrey's parents had in mind for her. Regardless, Riff wasn't about to be intimidated by them either. He feels confident in the love he and Audrey have. There were some pretty big moments for Riff in this novella. He's forced to face his past and I felt like he was finally able to heal. Then, he and Audrey go through some pretty life altering events. But, they made it through together.
Now, if you read Rock My Bed, you know what Riff and Audrey's sexual chemistry is like. If you haven't met them as a couple yet, let me just tell you...Riff if the kind of kinky I'd like to have in my bed! He's got a dirty mouth, but he also really worships Audrey. They are really, really hot together!
Overall, I really liked this novella. Like Lane and Noel's novella, I feel like it's necessary to read in order to continue on with the series. Could you go without it? Yes, but why would you want to? It tells a lot about them as a couple and where their future is headed. Not to mention the heart stopping moments. Eep! Plus, we get a status update on Lane and Noel. It made my heart happy. The Black Falcon Series has been such a fun ride and I can't wait to get my hands on Rock the Beat, which is Trip's book! If you like books about sexy rockers, this is a must read series!
Side note: I loved Audrey's brother, Gabe! He cracked me up.
