Sweet, quick read if you have only a short time to get away for the day. If you were that shy, awkward girl in high school, but have moved beyond that image I highly recommend this. It's rewarding for the nice girl and guy to not finish last.

Ever wanted to go back and see what would happen at that pivotal moment in your life if you'd chosen Door Number Two instead of Door Number One? Sure. We all would. This book sheds a little light on what could happen years later.
I love a good story where there's redemption. Add a cranky but loveable elderly woman with a smart mouth and I'm hooked. Rock 'n' Roll Reunion had both. Georgie Lee has penned an interesting tale of finding one's heart. I liked the premise of the book and couldn't put it down. My favorite part of the story was the elderly folks where Cindy worked. They have spunk, fast lines, and I cracked up. They made the story for me.
Cindy isn't the same gawky girl she'd been in high school. She's grown up, marred by life and cautious. She's the type of person the reader can relate to. We know people like her. And then there's James. He's been kicked around a bit by life as well. I won't give away too much, but let's say it hasn't all been roses for him, either. I liked the tension between them. There's unfinished business. But at the same time, things seemed to be a bit too smooth. There are a couple spots where the story feels more like it sort of takes place around them, rather than being them. Don't get me wrong, it's still a sweet little read you won't want to miss. The characters are unforgettable and will make you laugh out loud.
If you want a cute read for a lazy afternoon, then you need to read Rock 'n' Roll Reunion.
