The 1977 volume contains great pop hits like Glen Campbell's "Southern Nights," David Soul's "Don't Give Up on Us," Al Stewart's "Year of the Cat," and Crystal Gayle's "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue." To keep things close to exciting there are a couple of disco hits KC & the Sunshine Band's "I'm Your Boogie Man" and Rose Royce's "I Wanna Get Next to ...

The collection is a bit on the skimpy side to be considered an essential purchase. The track list, while full of classic songs, does go a ways in explaining the birth and blossoming of punk rock taking place around this time.
