PATRICIA SAYS: Long-time readers often list this as their favorite book, saying they adore rodeo cowboy Walker Riley and re-read RODEO NIGHTS every year. It holds a special place in my heart, too – I've named two of my rescue collies Riley and Kalli!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

RODEO NIGHTS is a prequel to WHERE LOVE LIVES: THE INHERITANCE, Book 6 of the Wyoming Wildflowers series. You met Zoe Parisi in JACK'S HEART (Book 5) and her grandparents Ruth and Hugh Moski have appeared in each of the Wyoming Wildflowers stories. You can see Matt Halderman at the start of his rodeo cowboy career in RODEO NIGHTS.
WHERE LOVE LIVES also is a part of a multi-author project called The Inheritance. Matt is not the only person to receive a surprising inheritance. The eccentric Harold Hopewell has left an unusual will that details bequests of all sorts, tailored to people he encountered from all walks of life.

THIS IS ABOUT SECOND CHANCES! I did enjoy the story of Kali and Walker - they had been in love - divorced and came back together after 10 years to help out in a Rodeo. Their is lovemaking, that is mild, full of passion and jus enough of a description - not vulgar. This is a romance that builds slow, because our h is afraid to see that man that she loves be hurt in bull riding. It is about misunderstanding that end in HEA. There is an epilogue that wraps everything up in a nice bow. (ljb).

A 175 page romance story of a woman who ran to New York for a career after divorcing the bull rider that would not give up the rodeo he loves to live the safe life she wished for. After 10 years. they are back in Wyoming together to save a rodeo venture for the ones they love. With the explicit hot sex scenes, the drama of her fears, and his wanting to do what he loves and have her love - will she still run? This story also available in the Reunion collection.

Kalli and Walker have missed out on ten years of love by a marriage destroyed by two people too young to communicate their needs and concerns.. Brought together again to assist Walker's aunt and uncle in their rodeo business, they now have the chance to reconnect and heal. This is a wonderful story of the importance of true communication to express the hopes and fears that, once addressed, will provide a second chance for love. I have a soft spot for cowboy romance, and this did not disappoint. The main characters are well-developed, and the secondary characters establish a community I would like to revisit. I look forward to reading more of her Wyoming Wildflower series. This book was gifted to me by the author in exchange for an honest review. The opinions are my own; I received no compensation.

We all need a second chance at some time in our lives and Rodeo Nights is all about a second chance for love. Romances may have predictable endings, but it the journey to get to that destination that makes for excitement. Sharing those twists and turns that get two people back to the same place at the right time in their lives has been exactly what Patricia has written. We can all identify with them. Read and enjoy.
