    Pretty Good

I read this book because, well number one it was free and number two I like sci-fi. I thought it was actually pretty good. The cover looked kinda cool and the plot sounded alright so I gave it a chance and I'm actually happy I did. I was really short, but good for when you simply need something to read and want a quick, short, and entertaining read. I think people should give it a chance.

    I Also Recommend:

Rogue Hunter Gaia #1 Into the Abyss

Rogue Hunter Gaia #1 Into the Abyss is the first of three in a series of short stories. Into the Abyss is about Zyra Zanr being sent on a mission to capture a woman named Molly Black.

Molly has stolen something from the Alliance and they want it back badly. They want it back so bad that they contacted Zyra to hunt her down. Zyra take the mission because she has history with Molly and wants to get revenge.

Being put into a cryo-chamber and being shipped to her destination she begins her mission.

I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading the second. I recommend this to all science fiction fans.

    Indie author

He could use a good content editor, but overall I enjoyed this series. Hey, it was free!

    Quick and entertaining

This is the begining of a fun adventure. Worth downloading and creates s charcter that gets more interesting as you read...i've now completed reading all three books of this series and im just sorry that its over.....its fun, fast pace, and keeps your interest....certainly as a free book, you cant go wrong. The only reason i didnt give it (5) stars is because in some parts of the story, i got a little lost in the direction of the story. Stick with it ....this is worth the effort!

    I Also Recommend:

Sci-Fi for the quick series read

Rogue Hunter: Gaia Into the Abyss is the first book in a series of short books that follows Zyra Zanr as she chases Molly Black. Zyra is a spunky bounty hunter that is working for the InterGalactic Alliance to capture Molly - dead or alive. Molly has something that the Alliance wants and Zyra doesn't care why. Zyra must invade the hideout and recover the item at all costs. Perhaps she can also satisfy a debt in the process.

This well written although short book by Kevis Hendrickson is easy to read and sparks interests for something different. The brevity of the book creates a sense for the reader of not being able to really know the characters in the book as deeply as the plot could allow. However, the writing is well paced, well organized, and keeps the reader engaged while wondering what event will happen next. I would enjoy reading a longer book series by Hendrickson to see how he could evolve this short series into a series of novels when given the chance to delve deeper into his character plots. The concept of Zyra Zanr is intriguing. I look forward to moving to Henrickson's next series Rogue Hunter: Quest of the Hunter to see if I get the fix I am hoping for. I hope to see you there!

    Enjoyed this series

There were some problems. The author was sometimes too brief. He ended them at strange spots. Still, for a self-published author, I enjoyed this series. Just wished he had a professional edit, or perhaps better critique before releasing. But I enjoyed it and it was cheap, so I'm not complaining. If you enjoy Sci-fi, and don't take your reading too seriously, you'll probably get a kick out of this story. After reading Pryde's choice, I felt Mr. Hendrickson could have done a better job with this one. Regardless, even though I'm not a fan of fantasy, I'm going to download his The Legends of Witch Bane soon and give it a try. Keep it up Mr. Hendrickson.

Like an SF movie--a really good SF movie!

My favorite part of this book was the fighting scene between Molly Black and Zyra!! I like Hendrickson's writing style--there's just enough description to hook you in and keep you afloat as you read. I love this series so far; It's just like an SF movie that I'd actually be into watching.

    Cheap book and good read!

I love indie authors and i've read other work from this author. I enjoyed the fact that Mr. Hendrickson put me immediately into the action. the story was fast paced and I flew through it. I wish it would have been a bit longer and not such an abrupt ending, but it was still worth the time and effort. A bit of editing would benefit this author, but the mistakes were not glaring.
