There were parts in this book where I was sucking it down as fast as I could. Action sequences that were very creative and unexpected. One sequence early on described her grabbing hold of a vertically lifting space craft that was particularly well written. BUT. . . for the most part it played out like a really strange video game plot.
And. . . THAT far into the future would they really use Miles and Inches!?! Come on. . . little things like that really kind of irked me.
If your really wanting a fast paced action book. . . this could be good for you. Just check your brain at the door.

"This book reminded me of a Playstation video game I used to play when I was younger: Danger Girl, and that's a VERRRY good thing! (^_^) I love books with kick-ass heroines and Zyra most definitely qualifies as such. She ranks high on my list between Lara Croft and SALT...LOL...and maybe Buffy Summers...I loved the names that Kevis used in this book...they are very unique. I think Jaxa has to be a favorite of mine...I hated that a few of my favorite male characters had to kick the bucket, but what's sci-fi without conflicting death, right? 10/10! I'm gonna read more!!
