Overview

The Reasons for Marriage—Miss Lenore Lester was perfectly content with her quiet country life, and had no desire for marriage. She took steps to remain inconspicuous when managing her brothers' house parties, and tried her best to show indifference—but to no avail! The notoriously charming Duke of Eversleigh had found her out and was quite persistent in his affections....

A Lady of Expectations—What Jack Lester wanted in a wife was someone rather like his sister, Lenore—attractive, capable, someone he could converse with. Impossible, given the debutantes he had seen over the past few seasons! Yet it was essential that he make his choice before the society matrons discovered that the Lesters were no longer poor as church mice....

An Unwilling Conquest—Harry Lester had no intention of following his sister and brother into marriage. And to avoid the matchmakers who'd gotten wind of the news that the Lester family fortunes had been repaired, he left London for Newmarket, only to find himself rescuing Mrs. Lucinda Babbacombe, a beautiful, managing widow, who refused to accept his advice! But no matter that he could not quell his desire for her—marriage was definitely out!

Stephanie Laurens has without a doubt established her readership through her Cynster series... However I think it is unfair to compare that series to this trilogy... Rogues Reform still demonstrates Ms. Laurens writings abilities at its best. Her plot is solid. The romance is assured. and the tension in pursuit of said romance and love is wonderful! ... It is true these books do not share the glorious detail of the love scenes like her Cynster series... But the strong regency settings, the great character development, and the wonderful sexual tension is definitely available in this book.

Fresh off the Cynster series, I picked up this trilogy. I was sadly disappointed. It's not the worst thing I've read, but it is no where near 'Devil's Bride.'
