There are also sides from artists who were spearheading the rockabilly revival on the West Coast in those dark times with entries from Johnny Legend "Soakin' the Bone", Ronnie Mack "Hey Pretty Girl" and teenaged Jimmie Lee Maslon "Salacious Rockabilly Cat" making this a well-rounded package that gives a sense of the time when rockabilly was first coming back up for air in the landscape of shag haircuts and big amps.
