    Good series beginning

I have read a few dragon-shifter series and thought I would give this one a try. Nice premise and good introduction to characters, this would make an interesting series to continue with lots of area for exploration. The main characters worked well, and supporting cast were interesting but not detracting. My only complaint is that somehow it felt a bit incomplete, I would like to have seen a bit more past exploration on the main character and a some more on the clan itself. Other than that, I look forward to see where, and if, the series grows.
