Overview

The year is 2099, and New York City, now renamed Verona, has been turned upside down. Three sides have risen up and two of them are immortals. The vampires are led by the House of Capulet, and Juliet's father is the head honcho. The werewolves are led by Lord Montague of the House of Montague, Romeo's father. Lastly, there are warlocks and witches who roam the city, using magic as a last resort to protect their mortality.

The two star-crossed lovers from opposing families find one another and fall hopelessly in love. Romeo and Juliet find a magnificent love that goes completely against all the odds of such a great union ever happening. Their love overflows to the point that they decide they must take the ultimate risk and reveal their love to all.

How will the houses react when they find out that a prominent member of their family is in love with their sworn immortal enemy? To complicate matters, blood has been spilled. Will Romeo and Juliet's love find a way? In the end, love makes its way to the very last word. Love will always find a way. Always...

"Bad Blood is fast, hilarious and sexy. Rain, Nicholson and Night just might have created the coolest vampire since Kiefer Sutherland. The Mount Shasta setting is dreamy. The cult is deliciously creepy. And Spider is as sexy as they come. I was pressing the ereader's 'forward' button so fast that I broke it. Let's hope we hear more from Spider."

    Highly Recommended - must read!

A new twist on an old classic. If you like paranormal books then you will fall in love with this one & won't want to put it down until the end! H.T. Night has done it again & if you've never read any of his books you will want to immediately buy all of his right away. This book contains suspense, humor & love. Can't wait for the sequel!

One of the best vampire books I ever read!

This is one of the cleverest, romantic books I have ever read. It is so much fun and it wonderfully crafted in a way where modern language pushes a classic story with a paranormal twist.

I really enjoyed the new twist on Romeo & Juliet..I just didn't like the way it ended, left me feeling like it wasn't over..Kinda like when watching something really good, then at the end,it says: to be continued.....................I hope H.T. writes a sequel to this...all of H.T.'s books have been a good read...but my favorite is Vampire Love Story...be sure to check out his many other books..

Probably one of HT's best books! I LOVED his telling of the classic tale with a completely new twist. I liked his chaaracters and the way they were written. I felt the overwhelming love the couple had for each other and the struggle with the "sides". The book gave me a giggle in some places and tears in others. GREAT JOB HT!!

This is nothing like Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. H T Night

This is nothing like Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. H T Night actually gives these kids brains, looks, and the strength to defy their families and go for true love. Romeo is more a man and Juliet is more a woman than Shakespeare's couple could ever be. They both know the score if their families find out they love each other. This is a true love story with drama, twists of fate, and tragedy. It is the surprise ending that will keep you coming back for more H T Night.
