Romeo + Juliet, Vol. 2

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Stephen Thomas Erlewine
The first soundtrack to the glitzy, MTV-era adaptation of Romeo and Juliet was an unexpected blockbuster hit -- highlighted by sleek modern rock like the shimmering pop of the Cardigans, Garbage's sexy menace, and Radiohead's epic melancholia -- so it's no surprise that Capitol rushed out a second volume months after the first went multi-platinum. Unlike the first volume, though, Romeo + Juliet, Vol. 2 includes incidental music and leftovers, highlighted by a Butthole Surfers remix.

    Wow

Now note that I rarely cry. Very rarely, and this one album has made me cry every time I listen to it. The music is undeniably beautiful and heartwreching quite frankly. And listening to this during a Grey's Anatomy commercial break is enough (in my opinion) is enough to bring the strongest man to tears

    VERY POWERFUL

The movie is well directed. It has alot of emotion. If you haven't seen the movie and you buy the CD, the CD will explain it all. I give them a 5 star because the songs were well picked. The songs were also very different than most songs on movie productions. Alot of the songs were written especially for the movie, which is great. Don't be a fool buy the CD and Rent the Movie!

    Amazing and Full of Awe

This is one of the very few CDs that I can actually listen to non-stop for the full CD. I've never been moved to tears so easily by such beautiful and awesome music. I rate this five stars.
