Overview

Prim and proper middle school teacher Isabel Montenegro always runs the opposite direction from men like Ramon Romero. A foul-mouthed, uneducated, loose cannon has no place in her careful plans. But instead of running away, Isabel is completely captivated. The intensity of his nature, while a bit daunting, mesmerizes her in ways she can't begin to understand. She's unwilling to walk away—even when her instincts are screaming at her to run.

Romero has no idea what he's getting himself into when he first kisses Isabel. Shocked at the passion she invokes in him, he believes he can keep his usual short fuse under wraps. Falling fast and hard for someone so flawlessly sweet only makes him more aware that he's far from perfect. If she is ever witness to his biggest imperfection, he's sure she'll bail. But when her meddling sister does the worst thing imaginable—bring other men between him and his Izzy—that fuse is lit and all bets are off.

As I began to read the Moreno brothers Romero always attrackted me the most. Portrayed as the bad boy and womanizer of the group I always wanted to find out more. So when his story finally came out, I was ecstatic, and boy was I not dissapointed. Reading about his background story gave out a different perspective and it helps to better understand why Romero is well... Romero. Raised by his uncles.. whom I might add are hystericall.. Romero learned to be a tought guy so when Izzy jumps into the picture it flips his world upside down. Romero had always had a temper but when it comes to his girl, theres nothing he woult'n do to keep her happy. Ms. Reyes did an amazing job with the story. Why would anybody want a perfect prince charming when one could have Romero.

This was part of the Moreno Brothers Series. Romero was one of their good friends throughout the series. I'm glad the author decided to tell Romero's story. It was enjoyable to read about the main characters and how opposites attract.

Macho Man on the outside, but loving, giving, caring man on the inside. I love this story of Romero and Izzy. He was a product of the environment he lived in, but deep down, all he needed was a good woman, the RIGHT woman to complete him. I love this series and am glad that although Romero wasn't a Moreno, his story was told to us. You are a great story teller Ms. Reyes and I am not done with all of the Moreno Brother Series...This was my first one, then i read the other 4 in 2 weeks. I was so addicted. Now, I am on to FATE! Can't wait.

I'm glad this story was written, when Romero was mentioned in the other books, I just thought of him as the annoying friend...after getting insight into his life and how he succeeds in his own way, I have a lot of respect for him. I loved his and Izzy's story, even though they came from different backgrounds, they complemented each other...now on to Sal's story.

I loved Angel's and Alex's story but this one was really not that great. First of all, Izzy is a grown woman still letting her sister run her life. I love my sister but it comes a point you need to tell them to butt out!!!!

Would have been a for star but the foul language was a downer. I almost archived it without reading it due to "f"word and the Lord's name in vain. I won't read it another one by this person.

The editing of this book is so bad that it detracts greatly from the story. Some places seemed as if the writer was tired when she made changes leaving duplicate words in the sentence. As far as the story goes, I found Romero to be a hot head that I did not enjoy reading about and Isabela's sister to be quite irritating
