WHAT HAPPENS WHEN TWIN SISTERS ARE ON OPPOSITE ENDS OF THE SPECTRUM?
Roses are Thorns, Violets are True is not a story about your typical twin sisters.
Rose's ultimate goal is to remain in the spotlight; whether it be the star of her parent's eyes, or that of the silver screen. To the world, Rose is sincere, glamorous, and of course beautiful; but to her twin sister, Violet, she's a conniving, manipulative person that starves for constant attention.
Violet, on the other hand, prefers to remain behind the scenes and cherishes her privacy. She takes pride in helping others and her profession as the director of a community center reflects that. Unbeknownst to Violet, Rose is jealous of her intellect and uncanny ability to draw people toward her.
In the past, regardless of circumstances, Violet has always been able to forgive her sister's malicious deeds. Well that is, until Rose does the unthinkable. Can these sisters ever be friends, or will they always stand divided? In the end, they both must face their past and learn the act of forgiveness.
A suspenseful tale filled with twists and turns. Tag along as the author gets to the heart and soul of sibling rivalry.
