    Caution -- Rosetta Stone Italian Totale can only be used on 1 computer!

    I was a satisfied user of both Rosetta Stone Spanish and French (Version 3 - Personal Edition). The new, "improved" Totale version 4 (which I purchased for Italian 1 & 2) is infuriating because, while a second learner CAN use the program, it can ONLY be used on ONE computer. Thus, my daughter cannot use the program except when she is on a break from college and has access to my computer. That's pretty frustrating because both of us wanted to learn Italian simultaneously in preparation for her semester abroad in May and my visit to her during that time. For the OLD Version 3 edition, two people in a household could load the software onto each of their own computers. Customer Service at Rosetta Stone will do NOTHING to exchange the program for an older, alternate version which can accommodate 2 different users on 2 different computers, IF you have purchased through Barnes and Noble. I've spent about $1,500 on their products in the past 2 years, and their customer service, or lack of it, is outrageous.
