Who should a bride turn to when her wedding starts to fall apart? Her flower girls, of course! In this fast paced adventure, Rosie and her new flower girl friends must combine their talents to save a wedding from total disaster.

Rosie loves to play detective; yet, she never thought she’d get to use her sleuthing skills as a flower girl. But that’s what happens when the wedding she’s in begins to unravel. Luckily for the bride, Rosie and her new flower girl friends, Iris and Starr, are on the case. Now it’s up to them to turn a wedding gone wrong into one that’s done right!

Featuring diversity, humor, and adventure, the Flower Girl World chapter book series highlights themes of friendship, leadership, acceptance, growing up, and girl power. It also introduces global customs and cultures.

Blogger Melissa Glynn of Julia’s Bookbag says, "I think girls would just FLIP over this series! I love the message, which does not center around dressing up and looking pretty. The stories focus on friendships, on finding confidence in one’s abilities, and on doing what you can to assist others."

This chapter book by Lynelle Woolley for ages 6-8 will appeal to any young girl, whether or not she is a flower girl in a wedding. If she is in a wedding, it makes the perfect flower girl gift!

My 1st grader and my 3rd grader both loved this book!  They were able to read it independently and were motivated to finish it the same day.  They loved all the drama of the characters and each identified with another character... all very feminine but strong and fun.   This would be really fun for a bride to give to her flower girl! Inexpensive, precious gift!

My daughter just started reading chapter books and she loves this one. It’s an easy read with really cute pictures. The characters are strong girls who have to solve problems. That’s what I’m looking for in a book for my daughter.

I wasn't sure how much I would like this book, but it sounded cute so I gave it a try. I'm glad I did. It is short, sweet, and lots of fun. Rosie is asked by her old babysitter to be a flower girl in her wedding. Rosie meets the other flower girls and together they manage to save the wedding from certain disaster. Rosie is a sweet girl that has to overcome her own fears and self-doubt in order to help the bride and be the best flower girl she can. The writing is simple and the book is short. There are quite a few black and white illustrations, which makes it nice for kids starting out in chapter books. My five year old was a little too young to appreciate it, but it would be perfect for girls ages 7 and up. I've lent out my copy to a neighbor girl who was thrilled to read it. Content: clean

Super cute story It’s not about the wedding. It’s about how the flower girls can use their talents to save the wedding. Who wouldn't want to be a flower girl!?!?!!!
