    Just as good as the first one.

    If you read and liked the first one you will like this one. Great weekend or vacation read. I'm learning so much along with Meg on what it takes to run an orchard. Reading the third book now and can't wait to see what happens. I love all of the usual characters and am enjoying some new ones too. Great storyline although not too hard to figure out whodunit. Great books for busy people.

    Good story

    You have to read the first book, One Bad Apple, to understand what happens in this book. Very well written story with lots of twists and turns. This book is one to be kept in my permanent library. I recommend this book to teenagers as well as elderly adults.

    Second in fun new cozy series!

    Connolly's Orchard Mystery series is a welcome addition to the genre. Following "One Bad Apple", this second in the series makes us root for Meg Corey in her new home in the countryside. Her efforts to start life anew and learn things she never knew before leave the reader hopeful. Perhaps I, too, can learn to refinish a floor? In any case, the mystery is intriguing, the hint of romance promising and the characters well rounded.

    Take a bite out of this delectable cozy and enjoy!

    Sheila Connolly has another winner with the sequel to her first Orchard mystery. Meg Corey has discovered another body, this one poisoned to death with a nasty pesticide. Suspects pop up all around her, but who is the killer? As she delves into the mystery, Meg also takes on the renovation of her newly acquired farmhouse, the operation of the apple orchard that came with it, and the care of a new cat and two new goats. This was a fun mystery all around, one that made me feel as if I were one of the characters. I'm anxious to read the next one in this series.
