Overview

Torn between the love he has-and the love he's always wanted. A Rough Riders book. Chassie West Glanzer hasn't been a stranger to drama and tragedy. A year of wedded bliss to sexy-as-sin cowboy Trevor Glanzer has brought her the happiness and contentment she never thought she'd find, and mellowed Trevor's rodeo wanderlust. Then Trevors old roping partner ambles up the driveway and Chassie's life changes drastically. Trevor never expected to see Edgard Mancuso again, after it became clear he couldn't be the man Edgard needed. Now Edgard is back from Brazil to sort out their tangled past, and Trevor is plagued with feelings he thought he'd buried over three years ago. Although Trevor is hat-over-bootheels in love with his sweet, feisty wife, the sense his life is missing a piece has always gnawed at him. Chassie's shock that Edgard and Trevor were once lovers turns to fear of losing her husband. Or worse, fear that Trevor will stay with her only out of a sense of duty. Yet as the three of them spend time together, the sins of the past blur and fade, leaving raw emotion and unbridled passion. Passion that could heal-or cause irreparable damage to their future. Warning: this book contains unbelievably explicit sex, including multiple cowboy/cowgirl/cowboy menage scenes, juicy, hot, male on male action, a bucketful of politically incorrect situations and true Western ideology

    I Also Recommend:

I WAS SO HAPPY WITH THIS BOOK. TREVOR AND EDGARD BACK TOGETHER!!!!!

It absolutely broke my heart that Trevor and Edgard didn't get their happliy ever after in the first book, but this was a great way to bring them together. Chassie needed Trevor, and Trevor needed her, But Edgard need them both. I hated the way they had to be torn apart in the first book, and Trevor ended up getting drunk for six months after Edgard left, but when he walked up the driveway looking for Trevor and Trevor comes out and swings him up in his arms that was great. Chassie is a strong woman, and accepts Edgard into their lives, and into their bed, and it ended up being one of my very favorite stories. This series should continue on for a long time, the characters are a plenty, and there is lots of territory to cover, so keep'em comin' Lorelie James.

    My favorite so far!

I really loved the story of Trevor, who truly loves his wife, but also has to learn what his true feelings are for his former lover, Edgard. He also has to decide his regarding his family. I thoroughly enjoyed. The sex scenes were extremely hot. If you do not like to read about homosexual sex, then this book is not for you.

A Whole Lot Better than I was expecting

So I was a bit put off by the man on man action that was a given in this book (I am not a homophobe but I wouldnt generally read a gay erotica novel either). But there really is just so much going on in this book, the storyline is really good. The sexual stuff in these books (I think anyways) really just blends so well with the story.

Chassie Glazner is one lucky cowgirl and madly in love with her

Chassie Glazner is one lucky cowgirl and madly in love with her hubby Trevor(Trev). They are two hard working people that are struggling to make ends meet. They would love to expand their land but they don't have the funds to do so another dream put on hold for now. Trevor loves Chassie with all of his heart yet he never expected to see his former lover Edgard(Ed) Mancuso again and certain on his doorstep. Trevor is filled with such confusion and longing at seeing Ed again. He wonders what Ed could possibly want after three and half years. Ed Mancuso walked away from Trev once but this time he's not walking away until he gets somc answers to his questions. Ed surprises Trev by helping out on the ranch getting to know Chassie while Trev stays out of his way entirely. When Chassie catches Trev and Ed kissing each other, she's devasted and hurt beyond belief. She's not sure what to do about the situation and gets advice from her cousin Colby and his wife Channing. When Chassie returns she asks and demands to see Trev and Ed share their love for one another in front of her. Trev balks at the suggestion yet Ed sees the sense in Chassie's request. What Chassie witnesses is beyond her expectation and considers making Ed apart of her and Trev's lovemaking. Will Trev admit his feelings and not hide? Will Ed be honest with Chassie and Trev? Can the twosome become a threesome? What are Chassie's feeling for Ed? Your answers await you in Rough, Raw, and Ready.

    Wow

The explicit descriptions of the m/m action were a bit too much for my liking but this was a touching poignant love story nonetheless.

    Wonderful Book

This was a fantastic book...one of my all time favorite reads! The relationship between the characters was extremely loving but also extremely sexy. I love how the characters were able to "have it all" and be unconventional. I will definitely always remember this book.

    Beautiful

I wish authors would write continuation stories sometimes. I felt like i want to or needed to know what happened with this couple. The story was great. I couldnt put the book down. It was hardcore when it needed to be, then tug at the heart strings as well. Ms. James if you are reading this, how about a little short story on this wonderful family. KIDs??

    Really HOT!!!

Like most of Lorelei James' books, this was hot!!! The story of Trevor & Edgard continues, after the way things ended in "Long Hard Ride" for them. I like how Chassie fights for what is wants too. Love all her books.

    Definitely Recommend!

This whole Rough Rider Series is excellent. I loved this book because it ties up a story from the first book. I just love two cowboys and a cowgirl!

Eh. It was okay. I've read about 10 of the Rough Rider Series, and this is my least favorite. It had nothing to do with the male sex scenes, and more to do with the fact that it was a hard romance to believe. Trevor and Edgard were introduced to us in a previous book, and I enjoyed that connection. Trevor and Chassie's relationship already existed in this book, so it wasn't as developed as as such I didn't have much of a feeling of their connection to each other. The entire book felt like Trevor and Edgard were finally getting the chance to be in love, and Chassie was tagging along like a lost puppy in order not to lose her man. Chassie and Edgard having feelings for each other was not very believable in my opinion and I just felt sorry for her.

not as good as the others I've read

I preferred the other books in this series that I have read. I liked the guys when I read about them in a previous book and was looking forward to this one. Sadly Disappointed.

    Nah

    ## Okay, this book was my least favorite out of this series. Don't get me wrong, I love a menage story especially including m/m sex. However, the heroine seemed to be just in the way. I only felt the connection between the two males. Yeah, eventually the heroine and second hero sort of became close but not really. I don't think the story was written well. I feel it should be a 3 way love story but this didn't feel like that. The male love was just so much stronger. I can recommend "anna in the middle" as an alternative. A menage where all three partners are equally important.
