And, an 8_page activity book provides easy_to_follow, step_by_step instructions to help children create their own masterpieces.

Each kit is approved by the individual artist or his/her estate.

With his use of imagery from comic strips and advertisements, Roy Lichtenstein (American, 1923—1997) created a new form of art known as Pop Art. Using primary colors and techniques inspired by the printing press, Lichtenstein created graphic paintings of modern American life and pop culture.

Author Biography: Janet Boris, a writer and film director, began her career in children's educational television. She is an advocate of art education and is active on many museum committees.
