Overview

The Queen of England has requested the help of the Privy Council. Someone is trying to kill her son's fiance. The HRH Prince plans to marry a commoner, and his bride has a secret no one knows but the Privy Council. She has a tatù. When the Privy Council turns to Rae for help, she can't possibly say no; not even when they make Devon her partner for this assignment. They are to pose as a couple and work undercover, as bodyguards, to protect the soon to be Princess of Wales.

Rae would rather be anywhere but with Devon, especially since she believes her mother to be alive, despite the Privy Council's assurances to the contrary. The question is, how can Rae find proof of life for her mother, come to terms with her feelings for Devon, and manage to save the Princess, all while dressed for tea?

When the enigma, the secrets and the skeletons in the closet begin to be exposed, can Rae handle the truth?

The book is very short, 160 pages. The story felt very undeveloped and rushed, not much excitement and very predictable. There are numerous mistakes all over the place: from misspellings to doubled words and sentences to even confusingly using the name of one character instead of another towards the end of the book. The details were off too: at one point a character was presented as a blonde girl and then in the end she had a dark hair. Again, it felt like the author was rushing and not paying attention to what she was writing.

The story has a great base but it needs more. There were numerous amounts of grammatical and spelling issues. The characters were hard to get to know, not too much depth. They need more depth, ways to make us love them more. I have read the series so far, I still feel lost on a lot of occasions. It felt that this series is being written to quickly and that the depth isn't there. I really hope the author goes back through these books and sees that more needs to be done to make these books more popular.

I agree that this had too many mistakes and misspellings. I think you need a new proof reader. I'd fire them for sure. This was a very short book and needed more depth.
