NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

Fans of Fifty Shades of Grey, Bared to You, and Release Me will be hooked on Ruined, an electrifying journey of emotional and sexual discovery that pushes two damaged souls to their breaking point—and beyond.

He’s the last man Chloe Girard should love . . . but the first she ever could.

Ethan Frost is a visionary, a genius, every woman’s deepest, darkest fantasy—even mine. And, somehow, I am his.

He stole into my life like a dream. Turned my reality upside down and made my every desire come true—especially those I never knew I had. He demanded everything I had to give and gave me everything of himself in return.

But dreams don’t last forever, and ours is no exception. Because my nightmares are darker, and my wounds deeper, than I could ever reveal. And as much as Ethan wants to protect me, the secrets we share will only tear us apart.

Ethan Frost returns in Addicted, coming July 2014!

Chloe expects her first day as an intern at biomedical corporation Frost Industries to be filled with intellectual property law and business. She doesn't expect to get into an argument over blueberries in the cafeteria with the gorgeous guy behind the smoothie bar. Worse, she didn't know that guy was in fact Ethan Frost, her boss. VERDICT Wolff (Full Exposure) brings two people with tormented backgrounds together to heal each other. While the relationship may seem too familiar, the plot will intrigue even the most skeptical readers [Xpress Reviews, 1/10/14.]—Kristi Chadwick, Emily Willison Memorial Lib., Easthampton, MA

    Loved it!

    My review:

I have to admit that I was little sceptical about Ruined. The reason behind it is, that there are tons of books where a rich CEO meets an ordinary girl, they fall in love, face issues and then suddenly you have a trilogy. But believe me, when I am saying that this book is different.

I loved the writing style! It was funny, sexy and there is much more to the story than you think in the beginning. It was genuinely well-written and a total page turner. And what a cliffhanger at the end of the book!!! Honestly, I can't wait to the sequel!

    Plot:

Chloe has her first day of the internship at Frost Industries when she meets a guy blending smoothies at the company cafeteria. Ethan is laid back and he seems to know a lot about his smoothies. You quickly find out that Ethan knows much more than just about the smoothies. He is a handsome CEO of the Frost Industries and finds himself being very intrigued about Chloe.

Chloe has a dark past which she tries to forget and her past is the reason why she doesn't want to have anything to do with Ethan. But Ethan doesn't give up. He does all the right things to win Chloe's heart.

There are some interesting twists and turns in Ruined and the plot is not as obvious as it seems. It's a romance, but also deals with some serious issues like abuse, betrayal and family relations. What I loved about it was, that even though the author and the characters are dealing with heavy topics, the book was not dark and tormented and that is mainly because the story is told by the point of view of Chloe. That brings us to the characters.

    Characters:

Chloe does have a dark past, but she has moved forward by deciding that she wants to live a normal life. That is her biggest strength and that is what made for so lovable. Whatever has happened she has decided to make the best out of her life and I admired her for that. She is strong, feisty and her voice is adorable!

Ethan is puzzled and intrigued by Chloe. Chloe is not opening up very easily and that darkens their relationship. Luckily Ethan does right with her and wins her trust. I loved Ethan, he was persistent and sweet and hot as hell.

    Generally:

Ruined is a great start for Ethan Frost series. It is a page tuner which you can't put away. It has some hot romance, well developed characters and it is fun to read. I highly recommend it!

    Plot spoilers

Well the title is appropriate considerating all the plot spoilers revealing the entire story line while bragging how they got their book for free for their "honest" review. Bn, please put a stop to the obnoxious plot spoilers who think they have to tell every detail of the story. Not only them, but these kids who use the book review section as a chat room and a role play game room. Cant they all be banned? Isnt that a term of service violation?????

Ruined was a great story, and although I'm not a fan of open end

Ruined was a great story, and although I'm not a fan of open endings I was with this book because I knew there was a sequel, ADDICTED, coming in June. The sexual tension, emotion, light scenes, realism and sex all worked, never forced into the story and made me long for more. Maybe that's why the ending didn't bother me -- I wanted to spend more time with the characters and now I'll get to in the next book!

This is review is going to be to the point since I do not want to give anything away, but bottom line I liked the story, I liked the characters, I loved the cliffy.
I liked the whole set up of the story.  I liked how the characters met.  The entire book kept my interests which has been hard to do lately.
I cannot wait to read the sequel.  It was a great cliffy and I wonder how the characters are going to handle the new revolution.  Plus, I want to find out more about Ethan.  Even though he is a nice and very likable guy, he has some dark skeletons in his closet which I love for all hot rich heroes to have.  *wink*
The story may have the typical rich guy meets sweet heroine, but this one was a little different in the sense of the heroine’s past.
I received an ARC of this book.  Whenever I get an ARC, I overlook the grammar and punctuation.  However, it is important that the publisher and author go back and rewrite certain chapters. There were a few chapters where the author did not make a distinction between two of the characters.  The books still needs major review in editing.

    Waiting for More

I cannot wait for the next book. I thought this one started off just a bit slow, but picked up as she finally made it to her 1st days at work. Ethan seemed innocent and all so perfect and then the twist comes...and book ends. I am looking forward to the continuation of this story!! The development of their relationship is great, playing the romantic card more than the sexual dominant. However, I do hope it heats up in the 2nd book a tad more.

    Must Read!!!!!

Ruined is one of the best books ever. I can't wait for the next book. I read it in one day and loved getting into the pasts of both characters. No spoiler - just an honest review by an avid reader. It needs more than 5 stars. Tracy Wolff is a personal favorite of mine - a talented, imaginative writer that makes me want to quit my job and just read her books all the time.

Really enjoyed this book, characters were well drawn and believable.  But I was very annoyed with the cliff-hanger ending, especially as there'd been no indication.  I'll read "Addicted" to find out the ending, but will likely not read this author again.  I enjoy series books, and continuing with the hero/heroine's story and/or that of their friends is great, but a book that is not complete in and of itself is only part of a book to me.

    I couldn't put it down!

I was skeptical, probably because of the cover. I was wrong. This book was so great. I have told all my sister's about it. It was hard to find a book that was comparable to 50 shades of grey, and this one definitely hooked me in. I cannot wait for the next one.

Not too happy with this book. The story drags. I found myself passing the pages. Do not the way she writes.
