Overview

Time is running out on American exceptionalism. The light of liberty is flickering. At no point since we still had the Redcoats on our shores has freedom been more imperiled. This time it's not an invading foreign power that threatens us, but our own government gone wild— unhinged from its Constitutional limits. Many great books have been written about what we should believe and why, or why the Left's beliefs are flawed, but never before has a book been written that shows how to do what we believe. Until now. The Left has its playbook, Saul Alinsky's infamous Rules for Radicals. Now the good guys have theirs. Endorsed by a who's who of the conservative movement, we present Rules for Patriots.

Editorial Reviews

Donald Trump
“If you want to be able to say 'you're fired' to the people plunging this great country of ours down the drain, this book is for you. Steve Deace is one of the rising stars in conservative media, and he's able to tackle serious subject matter in a winsome way that's so easy to understand, even a Washington, D.C. politician can get it.”
Ben Shapiro
“In Rules for Patriots, Steve Deace lays out a blue print for victory for conservatives–a blueprint based on drawing stark contrasts rather than painting in shades of gray. Deace calls for conservatives to fight rather than retreat, recognizing that without a fight, the Left will never back down.”
Thomas Woods
“Steve Deace has given us a punchy indictment of a Republican Party establishment that seems bent on losing again…. Deace's own plan for victory will enrage the hacks and hangers-on, which is why normal Americans will love it."
Newt Gingrich
“You will never think about the challenges to America the same after you read Steve Deace.”
Ed Martin
“Rules for Patriots is the real deal! Deace pulls no punches in telling conservatives how to win NOT just how important it is.”
Erick Erickson
“Republicans are relying on Democrats to lose elections instead of trying to win with a mandate. Steve Deace presents some great 'Rules for Patriots' to start winning with conservative conviction.”
Rafael Cruz
“The American people, increasingly frustrated with the loss of liberty and expansion of government, are offered a tough burst of honesty and clarity from Steve Deace–whether it is on air or in his book. Steve shines the light on the Republican Party establishment and offers encouragement that 'we the people' can take our country back.”
Mark Levin
“Steve Deace has authored a superb primer for conservatives who want to win. Whether you are considering running for office, a member of your local Tea Party, or a concerned citizen debating the issues of the day, this book is a must read.”
Chris Chocola
“We need more folks like Steve who are fearless in their advocacy for protecting the freedoms and liberties that make this country great. Buy his book–you won't regret it.”
Tim Wildmon
“In Rules for Patriots Steve lays out the good, the bad and the ugly on the condition of our country and then lays out a game plan for conservatives…."
Dean Clancy
“Clear-eyed and lion-hearted, Steve Deace is a latter-day Sam Adams. Every grassroots citizen who cherishes freedom and justice should study this highly readable antidote to political despair. These brilliant rules for political combat, if consistently wielded by an 'irate, tireless minority,' will undoubtedly save our country.”

Deace draws a line in the sand between Republicans and Democrats, along with elected conservatives whom he believes have deserted the party and the true believing patriots who will not compromise their values. His playbook for Republican victory calls for such "commandments" as "never trust Republicans." In a work that's sure to arouse some readers and raise the hackles of others, Deace concludes that a "bad Republican is not better than a good Democrat."

What People are saying about this

Ed Martin
"Rules for Patriots is the real deal! Deace pulls no punches in telling conservatives how to win NOT just how important it is. As a state leader, I sent copies to Missouri conservatives with the message "read it and lead"
Thomas Woods
"Steve Deace has given us a punchy indictment of a Republican Party establishment that seems bent on losing again in 2016 with another Dole-style automaton. Deace's own plan for victory will enrage the hacks and hangers-on, which is why normal Americans will love it."
Chris Chocola
"As a frequent guest on the Steve Deace Show, I know that when it comes to taking on the radical left and the Obama agenda, Steve Deace is without peer. We need more folks like Steve who are fearless in their advocacy for protecting the freedoms and liberties that make this country great. Buy his book - you won't regret it."
Tim Wildmon

Finally!! It's about time someone put this stuff in writing so the TRUE conservatives have a game plan for winning. This isn't rocket science, but apparently, we've worked too hard a complicating our elections by trying to be such a "big tent". It's time to figure out who we are, what we stand for and stay true. Thanks Steve Deace for laying this out so clearly. Now, it's up to us to DO IT!

I was continually impressed with the perspective and research presented on numerous, important issues in this book. As an Evangelical voter myself, I too have been guilty of sitting on the sidelines and assuming the GOP will position the right leaders and make the best decisions for conservative values that were foundational to our nation. The 2016 GOP primary cycle has been a wakeup call for me, and this book has been a great tool to help me communicate my beliefs and engage those around me in a respectful manner. I highly recommend this book, especially for those questioning how they will vote in 2016.
