What I really liked is he explains exactly how and why each facet of your studies works, and assigns you homework. You're forced to do somewhat uncomfortable things until you become a natural through repetition; till each skill is performed effortlessly. Each chapter builds and expands on the previous. After learning all 30 you've got the mindset and confidence to have Game.

Part 2 - The Style Diaries: fascinating to unusual stories from the trenches that focus on the unexpected bad results that occur due to bad decisions in the middle of encounters. It's the HOW NOT TO game women. As always, Neil's infamous story telling of underworld situations are riveting and bizarre, from conquests to hilarious train wrecks. Edge of your seat field reports brilliantly written. He hangs with the who's who of Rock Stars and travels the globe, injecting himself in situations most of us can only dream of. The conquests could be penned in a braggadocio style, but his writing is self-deprecating and fun; he's learning and laughing along with us. A contagious writing style.

Rules of the Game is a very unique concept, and needed to be written. The first title simply left too many men desiring all the PUA tools Style used in the previous title. It's an advanced classroom explaining how he learned to execute all the killer pulls of hot women in the Game. If you're reading this, you've probably already read Mystery's manual. I'd also highly suggest for deeper PUA psychology and a million laughs another bestseller in this genre pick up Brett Tate's The Professional Bachelor: How to Exploit her Inner Psycho.

Good stuff.

There is a lot of good stuff in this book that guys who want to be pick up artists should know. He's a good writer and really gets down to the bones about this subject.

It will help your game!

Strauss does a great job in the book. Everything from the A-Z in pickup is covered in this book. It improved my game, dating life, sex life, and even how I dressed. Everything was taken to a whole new level. Also, Strauss has a bunch of free exercises such a subconscious reconditioning audio recording to help you believe that you are the man.

For the small price you pay for this book, you really get SO much! It was definitely worth the buy and I recommend it to anyone who wants to take their game to the next level.

This book was a waste of money

I had the book the Game and like that one a great deal. The Game was entertaining ,it also was more about confidence and bringing out the best in an individual. This book must've just been a money grab.

I wouldn't recommend this to somebody I liked or somebody I didn't like

Interesting

Although the book is focused on becoming a successful pick up artist, it actually is a well written relationship primer on interrelation dynamics regardless of gender and scenario. The book is divided into three sections. The first "The Stylelife Challenge" consists of breaking bad habits and replacing them with good routines. This needs to occur over thirty days so as Mr. Strauss points out follow the instructions strictly and read each day the applicable section over the month in order to kick out the bad and bring in the win. The second chapter "The Routines Collection" is perhaps the most applicable to the male PUA as it describes different pick up scenarios. To us targets, this section is amusing as women will recognize some of the trite devil spawned pick up tries and some new at least to this retired target. The third and final chapter "The Style Diaries" once again is useful to kick any bad habit as keeping score is critical regardless whether it is to meet women or diet.

Not for everyone but more than just for those penis envy wanting to play the Game played at the level of a master PUA, Rules of the Game gives easy to read and applicable tips though difficult to achieve dynamics. A successful relationship depends on get ridding of the bad habits by replacing them with good ones. Mark Twain said: "It's easy to stop smoking. I stopped a thousand times."

This book is life changing. This is not a book you read and put away. No, this book is the instructions for your life. When applied you will see amazing results.

Truly motivating.

One thing I will say about this book is that it is motivating. It's like a wake up call to get up, get dressed--nicely--and get out there! The women are waiting and, once you're ready, you just have to go out and find them. A great read.

Incredible book from a Great Writer!

Another awesome project by one of our best contemporary writers. Neil Strauss is a bestselling author who first got his notoriety as a staff writer for The Rolling Stone magazine. From there, he wrote books for & with some controversial artists such as Motley Crue, Marilyn Manson, and even porn star Jenna Jameson. But his biggest success came when he started writing about the secret society of the Pick-Up artist. If you haven't yet had the chance to read 'The Game,' by him, GET IT NOW! You won't be able to put it down. Read the review if you like, but just trust me & get it - you won't regret it. I just ordered 3 copies of his latest project - 'Rules of the Game,' which I intend to give 2 away to good friends of mine as gifts. Yes, I'm also making them my 'wingmen' - to go out with & make new friends with beautiful ladies. Neil Strauss writes with class, humor, insight, and inspiring humility. Grab your reading glasses

First of all, this book is labeled a hardcover, when it's actually a softcover. The case is hard, but not the cover of the books. Very misleading. Second, this book is so tiny and the print is so small, that I may need to get new reading glasses after straining my eyes from looking at it. The content contains some simple and practical tips for meeting women mixed in with suggestions to dress nice and stand up straight. I was honestly expecting more from Neil.
