Rumble Fish is a fine book that is trying to send a message about the gang violence that she was against that took place in cities. The book is definitely aimed for teens that are around the age of the characters. Everyone should read it, though. If you're a fan of action-packed fight scenes, you'll enjoy this book, but if you enjoy a more sophisticated read, this isn't for you. The story is based on a fourteen year-old named Rusty James. He is the toughest in the neighborhood and has an older brother called the Motorcycle Boy. But things take a turn for the worst, and Motorcycle Boy can't exactly help him. S.E. Hinton does a great job at making the reader live through the scenes and the thoughts of Rusty. It doesn't quite compare to "The Outsiders," but it is a modern classic and deserves recognition. I ranked it four stars because it's almost too easy to read.

Rumble Fish was all together a good book that tries to send a message to people about violence. The book was an interesting, thriller book. The book was exciting and I didn't want it to end. The main characters are Rusty James, Steve, and The Motorcycle Boy. Rusty James is a fourteen year old who loves to fight. He wants to be like his brother, The Motorcycle Boy, a tough guy. Rusty James relies on The Motorcycle Boy to bail him out when he's in trouble, but he can't always do that anymore. S.E. Hinton did a good job writing this book. The plot was crazy, but interesting. Rusty James and The Motorcycle Boy are courageous and interesting characters. The theme of the book was a dark and tough place, a really good job! Rumble Fish had an interesting, but weird ending. The ending left me asking myself, is that it? I read the book in three days, and I say it's one of the best books I've ever read. I read another one of S.E. Hinton's books a while ago. "The Outsiders" is a pretty good book, but not as good as "Rumble Fish." This book is for guys who are teens and love action/fighting books.

Rumble Fish is one of the few books that I've enjoyed reading. I guess I like it so much because it's about another low life gang member. A lot of people don't think that their stories are important or meaningful, but they are. I thought it was interesting because at the end one of those low life criminals did something he believed was morally right.

Rumble Fish is about a kid who relies on his fists instead his head, and relies on his older brother to bail him out of those extremely troubling events. It's more in the category of 'That Was Then, This Is Now!' but didn't really have those Outsiders spinoffs. It lost me after a little bit.

My Book Review Book title and author: Rumble Fish by S.E. Hinton Title of review: My book review Number of stars (1 to 5): 4 stars Introduction: Rusty James knows he’s tough, but he wants to be even tougher. He wants to stay calm in the face of danger and be the strongest street fighter on this side of the river. Rusty is not very smart he relies on his fists instead of his brains. Description and summary of content: Rusty James always relies on his older brother the motor cycle boy to bail him out of trouble. But one day rusty James world comes apart in a chain of events. But the motor cycle boy can’t help him this time. Evaluation: Over all this book is very exciting. It’s filled with action and suspense but it’s also visually descriptive. I recommend this book to everyone it’s a great read. Conclusion: In conclusion Rumble Fish is a great book. It teaches you being tough isn’t everything. The characters are really discriped so you can imagin them very clearley.

Velvetstar opened her jaws as the scared rabbit collides with her, bringing her claws to either of its sides to block its escape. She shut her mouth on its slender neck and the prey goes limp. -Velvetstar-

My mind has just been blown. I thought that motorcycle boy was awsome at first. Then I'm like he's a physco. Then I'm like that just the way he rolls. But I really think he might be just plain special. I hope Rusty James didn't end up like him.

Rumble Fish, Rusty is one of the characters in the book and is the main character in Rumble Fish. Rusty has an old friend named Steve he ran into. Rusty has been studying to become a high school teacher. He is scared of what happen to them when his old friend Steve invited him to dinner. James has been around, but not since he has been getting out of reformatting after servey years. Steve remembers of how much trouble they had got into and what has happen to them. Rusty stops by his girlfriend house, after Steve goes home. Patty rusty girlfriend, mother has to work night shift as a nurse. Patty has to baby-sit her little brothers. Rusty has been to the lake with his friends recently and has lied to patty that there were no girls there and patty got really mad at him. Rusty thinks he’s one of the dumbest kids in school. He’s in grad school and he thinks they separate the kids from smart to the dumbest. James found out his mother is in the hospital from a stroke. James is really upset and does’nt know what to do, he is really stressed out now with his mom in the hospital and school. James is always hanging out with Bendy; they are either playing pool or just hanging together. Rusty wants to be like his older brother. James was a fighter never thought it twice, he a had a quick temper. Rusty Just doesn’t  think before he do. Patty and Rusty made out and Rusty Just fell asleep afterwards. He’s supposed to fight Biff at 8:00, but he woke up at 7:30. Rusty always made a promise to Patty that he wasn’t going to fight any more, but he couldn’t just turn this down and be a punk. Biff really wants to kill Rusty for no reason and if there was a reason it was stupid. Biff and Rusty are to meet each other in vacant lot behind pet store. Rusty was warned  to be careful because Biff might come to vacant lot deep, but rusty wasn’t worried he was going to come deep. Alexis Daye

Book Review Outline Book title and author: Rumblefish by S.E Hinton Number of stars (1 to 5): Introduction This book is about a kid who leads a gang and when they fight we all know it won't be a walk in the park from then on. Description and summary of main points The main point of the book would have to be the Motorcycle Boy. Evaluation Every page in this book packed full of action and there wasn't a boring point in the story and I just couldn't believe that it was over so quickly . Conclusion This book is one of my favorite books and I will always wonder what happened after the end. Your final review I couldn't do this review without telling you that you also should read this book from cover to cover and you will never regret doing it.
