I got a Nook Tablet as soon as they came out. From the start, I've been getting some storybooks like this for my grandkids. When they come over, they love to grab my Tablet. Of course Angry Birds is their favorite app, but this is their favorite storybook without doubt (they are 8, 6, and 3). Everyone knows the Rumpelstiltskin story, so I won't comment on that. But the graphics, music, narration and animations are really good. What the kids seem to like most is when they tap on characters or objects and something happens. I think that's why they keep coming back to it. I'm pretty dazzled by the 3D, but I think they are used to it from games and it just seems normal to them. But I haven't seen any other storybook with 3D graphics like this. The only thing I have to warn parents and grandparents about is, this is not a quick 10 minute read at bedtime. Choose some other story for a quick read. But when you have time, or want them to occupy themselves for at least a half an hour, you can't go wrong with Rumpelstiltskin. Obviously I do recommend it.

The book keeps starting over when I barely move the Nook. I like the 360 degree animation but the Father and other character have the same arm gestures, the little man is different because of the smoke. Not sure my Grandson will enjoy this one as much but we will see.

Bought this and even though it mentions the Nook Tablet in the description it will not work on the tablet only the Nook Color. B&N support was good enough to give me a refund, but what a disappointment.

Overview
In Rumpelstiltskin 3D, the classic Grimm Brothers' fairy tale comes alive with narration, stirring cinematic music, and delightful animations. As you go through the 31 pages, tap on characters to hear what they have to say in each scene (but ...
