    Run Review

Eric Walters creates the perfect blend of history and fiction in the inspiring true story portrayed in the book Run. The detailed diaries that track Terry Fox on his almost impossible marathon across Canada made me feel as if I was running right there with him. The fictitious character Winston is a troubled teen that is sent to spend time with his father, a human-interest journalist covering Terry¿s run. Miserable and bored out of his mind, Winston reluctantly decides to learn about his father¿s profession by interviewing Terry. Thinking that he would find out a thing or two about journalism, Winston was surprised when he discovered so much about himself. Terry¿s incredible story of determination and heroism inspires Winston and thousands of people around the country to accomplish their dreams.

    Incredibly inspiring

This book helped me learn a lot about Terrance Fox, and I would highly recommend it to anyone above the age of 10. Extremely gripping tale that will have you running every road with Terry.
